Please join us in person with Sayantani Dasgupta to celebrate the release of her short story collection, Women Who Misbehave. The author will be interviewed by special guest Tara Roberts. 

Born in Calcutta and raised in New Delhi, Sayantani Dasgupta received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho. She is the author of Fire Girl: Essays on India, America, & the In-Between—a Finalist for the Foreword Indies Awards for Creative Nonfiction—and the chapbook The House of Nails: Memories of a New Delhi Childhood. Her essays and short stories have appeared in The Rumpus, Hunger Mountain, Southern Humanities Review, The Hindu, Scroll, and others. She is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing in the MFA program at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, and has also taught in India, Italy, and Mexico. Women Who Misbehave, a collection of short stories, is her first book of fiction.
