Please bring the whole family for an author event with local author Eija Sumner (Crocodile Hungry) to celebrate the publication of her new children's book, The Good Little Mermaid's Guide to Bedtime, on Saturday, March 23, at 2:30pm at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow. Sumner will read, sign, and answer your questions about this hilarious new aquatic bedtime book that Booklist calls "deliciously naughty" and "utterly original."

EIJA SUMNER writes quirky and humorous picture books like her very first book, Crocodile Hungry. She has an MFA from Hamline University in writing for children and young adults. Eija lives in Moscow, Idaho, with her family and a passel of pets. She agrees that reading is an essential practice for good little mermaids (and humans too).
This little mermaid is too FIERCE and SCARY and FEROCIOUS to follow The Good Little Mermaid's Guide to Bedtime . . . well, except the part about snuggling her shark stuffie. A hilarious picture book for kids ages 3 to 7 who are experts at resisting sleep.
Once upon an evening, a good little mermaid begins to get ready for bed.
