Sixteen year old  Mila was “ rescued “ from an island in Florida .She was raised by dolphins after a boat crash at age four . The scientists have good intentions for her .They teach Mila music and  human language . Mila likes the human world but, she also misses the ocean world. Mila wishes to go back to the ocean world.
I liked the book because personally, I love dolphins. If you like dolphins or animals in general, then you will probably like this book. I would rate this book a ten out of ten. I think kids, teens, and adults would like this book. The author made the words start big, but as Mila learns more,  the words get smaller. This is a very happy book overall. I think that I can relate to Mila because when I was seven, I moved all the way across the country and I didn't have a lot of friends, but then I met a girl and now we're best friends. It took a while to get to know her and that's how I relate with Mila because it took her a while to understand the human world.
