Weekly storytimes are offered at BookPeople for children with their caregivers. Normally, we have a storytime twice a week: Thursdays and Fridays at 11 am. Thursday storytime is presided over by volunteer Jenny. On every other Friday, storytime goes crafty with volunteer Miss Deb. We always post up to date information about storytime on Facebook.  This April we have a Monday afternoon storytime at 3:30 pm thanks to the University of Idaho Children's Lit class taught by Margaret Vaughn. Occasionally a volunteer has to cancel in which case we might have to cancel or perhaps Jesica or one of the parents will fill in.

BookPeople is happy to host the Mamas + Papas of the Co-op on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. The Mamas + Papas is a monthly group for new and expectant parents on the Palouse. The group is an Outreach program of the Moscow Food Co-op designed to offer education and support for mamas, papas, wee ones and expecting families. Past discussions have included breast feeding, homeopathy, cold and flu remedies and surviving the winter with your Co-op kid.
